Our trip and travel cancellation polices are as follows:
- Only the person or guest (Herein referred to as “the guest, or guest) who makes and pays for the reservation is entitled to any applicable refund under this policy.
- The guest will receive a full refund for any reservation cancelled greater than 30 days before the check-in date.
- The guest will receive a 100% refund if booked less than 30 days before check-in and the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the booking but greater than 14 days before check-in.
- The guest will receive a 50% refund up to 14 days before check-in.
- No refund is offered less than 14 days of check in date, or any reservation made within 48 hours of check in including but not limited same day check in.
- There is no refund offered for any reservation that has already begun including those reservations covered under a trip insurance policy.
- Check in is at 4:00 PM for purposes of determining the refunds outlined in this policy.
TRIP CANCELLATION SERVICE FEE:
We offer a Trip Cancellation Service Fee (TCSF) which is 7% of the total price of the room reservation and cleaning fee only plus any applicable NY Taxes and Credit Card Service Fee’s. The premium for the trip cancellation service fee is fully earned at the time of any reservation is made but may be cancelled and refunded within 24 hours of making the reservation provided that such TCSF cancellation is within the parameters listed in the RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY. The Trip Cancellation is offered as a fully reimbursed cost of your room reservation and cleaning fee only up to 48 hours before checking in for any reason. Trip cancellation service fee does not cover any other companions or travelers in your group and is only available to the guest who made and paid for the reservation.
What happens if Colden Lodge cancel’s your reservation before check-in?
- If Colden Lodge cancels your reservation greater than 30 days to check-in, we will notify you via email and refund your money immediately.
- If Colden Lodge cancels your reservation within 30 days or less to your check-in date, we will offer you a full refund. If you contact us we can also assist you in finding other similar type accommodations within the parameters of your reservation with us and connect you to those properties directly for you to make payment arrangements with. We will make no guarantee that any other offers we assist you with will match the accommodation we offered. We also do not make third party payments on your behalf to other accommodations. Once your reservation is cancelled you will be refunded immediately. Any payments with alternate properties are between you and that property.
PARTYS, EVENTS and SPECIAL OCCASIONS:
Party’s or events which include additional guests or social gatherings greater than the number of occupants listed in the cabin or accommodation reservation are not permitted without prior permission, knowledge and agreement in writing. There is a very limited number of parking spaces at the property, and we must be respectful of every guest’s needs. Notwithstanding we will try and work with you in any way we can to accommodate your gathering provided we can do so without affecting any of the other guests experience at Colden Lodge. We can make no assurances that your gathering will be permitted. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and the property is not conducive to large gatherings or parties. Quite Hours are from 10PM to 6AM. If your event or party is permitted there will be a service fee which is dependent on management’s assessed impact of the event.
